The Blue Heron Room’s name has special significance for us. When we were trying to decide whether to buy the house, we stood on the nearby bridge and talked. In the river were two blue herons, fishing in the shallow water. We decided they were telling us to make an offer!

The Blue Heron Room is on the second floor, has a queen-size bed, and a private bathroom, and overlooks the Chenango River. Maybe the herons will make an appearance.
